The annual reunion this year for people who lived and grew up in and around the Cross Green area including connections to the Market District Boys Club, is taking place on the 3rd November.
Organised by Eric Allen and Pete Wood , the popular reunion has taken place for 25 years. Eric Allen said ” The reunion numbers just grow and grow the first one we held, there was only about 10 people, last year there must have been 300 people who attended and it’s great for everyone to come together, have a catch up and share their stories of yesterday.”
The reunion is at its usual venue Edmund House, Pontefract Lane Leeds 9.
Eric added “Everyone is welcome it starts from 12 noon.” Asking Eric what time it finishes he said ” There is no set time people just pop in throughout the day to what suits them, there are people coming and going at all different times.” Last year our photographer attended everyone was having a great time, so if you lived or worked in the area why not pop along.
