Skelmanthorpe Male Voice Choir have once again been successful in the recent choral competition season.
At the Eskdale Festival of Arts, National Choir Day competition held in the Whitby Pavilion in April, SMVC sang in three different classes. They came FIRST in the Male Voice Choir section winning against local and national choirs.
Success came again in the Wharfedale Competition in Ilkley gaining another FIRST in the Male Voice Choir section.
Skelmanthorpe are proud of their success and strive to increase their profile and reputation. Their membership draws from a wide Yorkshire area and they are constantly looking for new members and invite interested male singers to join them in celebrating this auspicious year and help them continue their success into the future.
