Craft Centre & Design Gallery goes Yellow for Le Tour!

As Leeds gears up for the World’s greatest cycle race in just 4 days’ time The Craft Centre and Design Gallery have embraced all things inspired by Le Tour Yorkshire and the colour yellow in a showcase of works now on display to own or admire. From vases to bowls, limited edition prints to glass coasters created by Jane O’Neill (as seen on BBC’s Countryfile recently) The Craft Centre, located underneath the Leeds City Art Gallery, is the place to be truly inspired. With the Grand Depart literally being on The Craft Centre’s doorstep on Saturday visitors have enjoyed browsing this vibrant space showcasing the works of UK artists as they’ve explored the top attractions of Yorkshire. Jane Needham Manager spoke of the buzz around Leeds this week: “It’s amazing to see how Leeds and Yorkshire have embraced Le Tour, visitors and tourists will not be disappointed with what we have to offer. We should all be proud of what we’ve achieved so far; here’s to welcoming the world.”

You can The Craft Centre and Design Gallery from Tuesday – Friday this week 10am – 5pm and on Saturday 5th July and Sunday 6th July 1-5pm. From Tuesday 8th July their normal opening hours will resume.

Extended opening hours to celebrate Le Tour Yorkshire:
Monday 30th June – Friday 4th July Open 10am – 5pm
Saturday 5th July Day of the Grand Départ Open 1pm – 5pm
Sunday 6th July Open 1pm – 5pm
Tuesday 8th July resuming normal opening hours
