EBORACUM ROMAN FESTIVAL IS BACK!

York Museums Trust is excited to announce that the much loved Eboracum Roman Festival will be returning this summer! 

The Legions of Rome are set to take over the historic York Museum Gardens on 25 & 26 June, and promises to be a fun-filled event – perfect for the whole family! 

It will be a packed weekend of family fun, including a Roman Living History camp, Kids Army, crafts, family activities and much more.

After experiencing the outdoor festivities, there will be the opportunity to head inside the Yorkshire Museum, to discover some of Britain’s greatest Roman treasures – including the exciting new exhibition ‘The Ryedale Hoard: A Roman Mystery’. 

Activities in York Museum Gardens on 25 & 26 June are free. 

Experience the sights and sounds of a Roman Encampment between 10am-5pm, and take part in Roman-themed family activities with Playful Anywhere between 11am-3pm.

Museum admission applies to those wanting to visit the Yorkshire Museum. Please note that the York Museum Gardens close at 6pm.
