Eggcellent Easter Eggs Reviewed By Selina

Hello readers, welcome to my monthly review. With Easter approaching I decided to do a slightly different review this time which is an Easter egg review. I went on a hunt to find various different and unique eggs for me to talk about that are different to the rest. Read on to find out about each one.

Award Winning Ferrero Rocher Eggs (£2.49)

These packs of 10 Ferrero eggs come in hazelnut or cocoa flavours. They have a crispy layer coated in milk chocolate with a delicious creamy centre. I found these good for sharing. One of my friends said “these eggs are scrumptious and I will definitely have them again.”

Ferrero Rocher Easter Egg (£6.49 medium, £10.99 large)

Another treat for the Ferrero Rocher lovers among you is this Easter egg. The egg has the crunchiness and taste of a Ferrero Rocher as it has hazelnut pieces speckled through the chocolate. The medium egg comes with 4 Ferrero Rochers and the large with 8. I liked this egg a lot but perhaps it is for the older ones as smaller children may not appreciate the nuts.

Lindt Gold Bunny (£4.49 for 200g bunny)

I love Lindt Gold Bunnies! They are presented very cutely in the shape of a bunny finished with a bell around their neck. They come in three tasty flavours – milk, dark and white chocolate, or you can get a 100g hazelnut bunny. I love the variety of flavours and sizes so you can choose which is right for you. I also tried a pack of five mini bunnies which may be better for small children.

Lindt Lindor Luxury Easter Egg (£10.99)

This beautifully presented milk chocolate egg is 322g and comes with 9 irresistibly smooth Lindor mini eggs with their famous melting centre. Your family or friends will love the quality of this luxury egg.

Lindt Mini Eggs bag (£1.99 for 100g)

These mini eggs are wrapped in three different designs which are pretty and come presented in a spring theme box. The solid mini eggs are very tasty bites of milk chocolate. These are also good for sharing.

Morrisons M Signature Raspberry and White
Chocolate Egg (£3.50)

This egg is hand decorated to perfection. It is a milk chocolate egg with an attractive white chocolate design topped with freeze dried raspberry pieces on the front. A very tasty egg!

Morrisons M Signature Butterscotch Chocolate Egg (£3.50)

This egg is also hand decorated with amazing presentation. It is a milk chocolate egg, again with white chocolate decoration but this time butterscotch pieces on the front. Both Morrison eggs are creamy chocolate and excellent value for money.

M&S Coffee Lovers Egg (£8.00)

This egg is perfect for coffee lovers as the name suggests! The egg is beautifully presented with gold coffee bean decoration to the front. You also get hazelnut and coffee milk chocolate balls in with the egg.

M&S Spring Collection Eggs (£12.00)

These assorted eggs look gorgeous in the box. Hand decorated milk, dark and white chocolate eggs with raspberry, pistachio and butterscotch. There are three larger ones and five smaller ones with a splendid variety of taste.

M&S Giant Golden Lattice Egg (£40.00)

Wow! This limited edition egg is absolutely stunning and the attention to detail is phenomenal. Piped in a lattice design, with a smaller egg set inside and dusted with gold. The taste is as amazing as it looks but it almost looked too good to eat! It is like a work of art. This egg is quite pricey but when you consider the work that has gone in to it and the fact that you get a massive 1.5kg of chocolate, it is well worth it!

Choc on Choc Egg on Toast (£12.00)

This egg on toast, complete with chocolate knife and fork is handmade and looks just like the real thing! The taste is to die for as it is made with really high quality chocolate. Choc on Choc is only available online at www.choconchoc.co.uk but their unusual designs make for a quirky gift!

All of these ‘eggcellent’ eggs are fantastic in their own way and I hope I have given you some inspiration. I certainly enjoyed testing them all for you!
