Acting on behalf of the Sir Robert Ogden Group, Cushman & Wakefield has completed the sale of a development site in Birstall, Leeds with consent for 32 houses.
The 2.6-acre site located off Field Head Lane comprises a former railway cutting that has since been back filled to create a predominantly level brownfield development site. The site is in an established and popular residential area surrounded by housing of varying age and style. It is situated less than half a mile from the village centre of Birstall which has a good range of local amenities.
Following a market testing exercise by Cushman & Wakefield, a sale was agreed to national social housing provider, Stonewater, which is proposing to develop a 100% affordable housing scheme of 32 dwellings.
