Local MP Greg Mulholland Enjoys Otley Vintage Transport Extravaganza

Local News

Otley MP Greg Mulholland attended the Otley Vintage Transport Extravaganza, an annual event attracting over 500 vehicles, ranging from large steam engines to military vehicles to classic cars.
Held on Knotford Nook on Pool Road, this year’s attractions also included an accordion band, birds of prey, and terrier racing.
All profits from the event go to the Hang On To A Dream charity, based in Otley, which since being founded in 1997 has worked to raise funds and help fulfil the dreams of terminally ill children in Yorkshire.
Commenting, Mr Mulholland said:
“The Extravaganza is always a lovely late-summer family event, with a huge range of vehicles going back many years and some excellent entertainment too.
“The Extravaganza supports a fantastic cause in helping very ill children fulfil their dreams. It was well-attended as ever in glorious sunshine, so well done to Nigel Francis and team for putting on a brilliant event once again.”
