I am delighted that following my suggestion of a tourism strategy for the town, Otley Town Council have now done this and I am very pleased to take on this role to support the drive to boost tourism locally.

“Otley and the surrounding area has a lot to offer day and weekend visitors and I hope that the new tourism drive will encourage more people to come to Otley to enjoy the town, the Chevin and surrounding countryside and of course spend money in our shops, pubs, cafes and restaurants. I am sure that the new Otley Ambassadors will all want to do what they can to assist in this, something I have done for the last nearly twelve years as Otley’s MP and am delighted to do going forward also as an Otley Ambassador working with the other Ambassadors, the Town Council, Otley Bid, Otley Chamber of Trade and Otley Town Partnership.”
