12 gymnasts from Otley Rhythmic Gymnastics Club represented their schools at the National Schools Competition in Halesowen, Birmingham and brought home 4 Gold, 3 Silver and 4 Bronze medals.

Head Coach, Karen Priestley, said ‘The gymnasts’ all worked very hard for this competition and deserved to do well, some of the girls were competing at their first ever competition and they all did their schools and club proud’.

The schools represented were; Otley Prince Henry’s Grammar, Horsforth St Margaret’s Primary and Bramhope Primary.

Results: 

Over 11 Ball Duet – 1st Maia Parkin & Amelia Tempest (Prince Henry’s), 4th Emilia Blackie & Zoe Hofman (Prince Henry’s)

Over 11 Ribbon – 3rd Amelia Tempest (Prince Henry’s), 5th Zoe Hofman (Prince Henry’s)

Over 11 Rope – 5th Emilia Blackie (Prince Henry’s)

Under 11 Hoop Duet – 1st Eloise Savage & Amber Snowden (St Margaret’s), 2nd Lily Dunn & Linnéa Hoppé (Bramhope), 3rd Bronte Staines & Emily Mitchell (Bramhope), 4th Emily Clay & Sophie Edmondson (Bramhope)

Under 11 Rope – 1st Linnéa Hoppé (Bramhope), 2nd Bronte Staines (Bramhope), 3rd Amber Snowden (St Margaret’s), 4th Sophie Edmondson (Bramhope)

Under 11 Ball – 1st Eloise Savage (St Margaret’s), 2nd Emily Clay (Bramhope), 3rd Lily Dunn (Bramhope), 4th Emily Mitchell (Bramhope)
