Ravensdale Nursing Home in Whinmoor, Leeds held an open day recently to raise funds for the 20 residents who require nursing or personal care through mental health conditions and physical disabilities.
One of the service users, Mick Tillotson invited Cllr Pauleen Grahame to the open day who was delighted to attend. She also arranged for the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress to attend which thrilled the residents. Mick Tillotson said “We the service users, thought it was the highlight of the year. We enjoyed the visit of the Lord Mayor, Lady Mayoress and Councillor Pauleen Grahame. Thank you to them for coming.”
Cllr Pauleen Grahame commented “Thank you to the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress for joining me at Ravensdale. The Lord Mayor was very popular with the residents. I am looking forward to offering my continued support to the nursing home along with Richard Burgon MP and my two ward colleagues.”
