Mysterious dinosaur footprints have appeared on the streets of Leeds and it can now be revealed that they belong to UK’s largest animatronic Tyrannosaurus Rex which has ventured into the city centre, which measures 8 metres tall and 18 metres long.
The huge T-Rex, which not only moves but roars, will remain at Trinity Leeds throughout the school summer holidays accompanied by a pop up dinosaur shop, before becoming extinct once again on September 2nd.
Visitors can capture a selfie of the ‘roar-some’ replica.
The installation is free for the public to visit, and is being supported by LeedsBID (Leeds Business Improvement District) and Trinity Leeds in conjunction with Child Friendly Leeds.
Andrew Cooper, Chief Executive at LeedsBID, said: “It is important for Leeds city centre to be a playful place, offering child-friendly spaces and activities for children, young people and families to enjoy.
“It is a great opportunity to have this roar-some attraction in the city centre for the duration of the school summer holidays. LeedsBID is delighted to be involved and supporting this new attraction.”
