Santa Paws Is Coming To Town!

FeaturesWagging Tales

It’s a case of all paws on deck at Dogs Trust Leeds as they are getting the presents wrapped, the cakes prepared and the gifts gathered together to make sure this year’s Santa Paws Weekend is more successful than ever.

This year’s festive affair, to be held at the rehoming centre on York Road, will take place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd of December with something for everyone, including canine companions.

Visitors to the Santa Paws Weekend will have the chance to have their photograph taken with Santa Paws in Santa’s Grotto, and there will be gift and craft stalls as well as raffles and tombolas and festive refreshments.

Sarah Gamble, Supporter Relations Officer and organiser of the event, says:

“It is always a brilliant weekend and definitely gets everyone and every dog in the mood for Christmas! It’s always really busy and a great atmosphere and we’re hoping that everyone that missed out on our Fun Day because it was too hot to hold the full event, will come along to the Santa Paws Weekend.”

The two-day event takes place from 12pm-3pm on both days. The rehoming centre is on York Road, Leeds, LS15 4NL. Donations for the raffle or tombola can be dropped off at the rehoming centre.  Anyone wanting to adopt a dog can still visit the centre over the weekend to find their perfect four-legged friend.
