Dulcie Swinson-Bullough of Allerton Bywater near Castleford, a florist based at her beautiful tearoom Dulcie Butterfly in the quaint village of Boston Spa, was the lucky florist to be chosen to put together this years Tour de Yorkshire 2016 flowers. She created 34 stunning bouquets to be presented to all the winners at every stage.
Dulcie a long term member of Welcome to Yorkshire was chosen as the preferred florist after previously doing the VIP tent table flowers for the Tour de France in Harrogate.
Her eye catching vintage country style of floristry was seen as the perfect style for the winner’s bouquets this year. Dulcie’s flowers have also featured on TV on “Lorraine” having being chosen to do the flowers of a televised wedding after seeing one bride’s plea for help to get her wedding done early after the brides father fell terminally ill with cancer. She has also worked on a floral display for Harrods London for the Rugby World Cup and is an in demand wedding florist through out the year.
