This November the ever-popular and highly-acclaimed THOR’S tipi bar will make a welcome return to Leeds city centre, running from 17 November right through until 31st December 2017.
Last year saw the arrival of THOR’S to Leeds for the very first time and in just six weeks, over 50,000 people visited this uniquely themed attraction that plays on Yorkshire’s Viking heritage.
Commencing Friday 17th November at Victoria Gardens, THOR’S will once again open its doors and provide a cosy winter retreat for Christmas shoppers, visitors and families alike.
Two linked canvas tipis will form the bar, festooned with lighting and decked out with wooden tables and benches, cosy furs and an open fire pit. An outdoor heated area will allow customers to soak up the festival atmosphere whilst watching the hustle and bustle around them.
The Little Vikings Club will see a welcome return to the tipi every Sunday from 10:30am – 12pm. Bring your little warriors along for a free hot chocolate and let them colour in a Viking mask as you chill out round the fire with the Sunday papers.
Local beer maker, Leeds Brewery will be serving lagers and draft ales and THOR’S guest beer will be making its introduction to Leeds customers. Mulled wine, hot cider and a fully licensed bar will ensure there is something to warm everyone’s cockles. A hot chocolate station allows kids, big and small, to choose a topping for their homemade chocolate treat.
Leeds’ favourite foodery, The Mussel Pot, will make a welcome return, bringing a Viking-inspired menu of delicious local fare to the event.

In addition to Leeds, THOR’S tipi bars will be popping up in York, Sheffield, Lincoln, Milton Keynes and London over the Christmas season.
For Christmas meals and office gatherings with a difference, THOR’S tipi bar can either be hired exclusively for up to 180 people or a special chill-out area can be set aside for smaller groups (minimum 10 people). Bookings are now open on 01653 610029.
