Global Digital Sports Company Set To Grow In Leeds

Perform Media, a world leading digital sports content and media company is further growing its presence in Leeds by taking new offices at the White Rose Office Park. Perform Media have agreed terms on a 15 year lease to occupy Optim the 40,000 sq ft prominent global headquarters building on the A6110, a key arterial route into Leeds city centre.

David Aspin, founder of Munroe K the owner and operator of White Rose Office Park, commented:

“I’m delighted that Perform Media has decided to join the national and global businesses including HSBC, Capita, O2, WSP, HMRC, Gather & Gather already present, to fully occupy the White Rose Office Park.

“We will now be moving forward as revealed at MIPIM with our plans in collaboration with Schroders, Land Securities and Leeds City Council to promote the area of urban regeneration known as ICON (International Centre of New Technology). The total area amounts to 74 acres including the existing White Rose Office Park.

“The new station along with this large area of economic regeneration in South Leeds will attract not only new international digital businesses to locate there but will also provide a new area of exciting residential accommodation, two new hotels, a new primary school and a new doctors surgery and A&E unit.

“The station will be the catalyst for this exciting regeneration providing not only new jobs but also housing all located in a car free environmentally and user-friendly area with a train service straight into Leeds City Centre.”

A major world-leading company like Perform Media further investing in Leeds and strengthening its relationship with the city by expanding is fantastic and is a great reflection of how Leeds is now viewed on a global level which should be a source of real pride.”
