Work has completed on a £500,000 refurbishment of Hollywood Bowl, Cardigan Fields on Kirkstall Road. The redesigned Centre reveals a ‘new generation’ Hollywood Bowl, complete with 32 fully computerised lanes, new plush leather seating, a fabulous new ‘Hollywood Diner’ and bar, and dazzling new décor celebrating all things Americana.
The ‘new’ Hollywood Bowl features an advanced scoring system that will allow players to share their scores and post their strikes on Facebook, while they can also show-off their skills to the rest of the Centre as linked screens will let everyone know when they get a strike!
Social media features strongly in the new booking system too, as visitors are now able to invite Facebook friends to share a game with them when they book online, and ‘check in’ the party upon arrival.
There are four new, exclusive VIP lanes, allowing visitors to get the A-list treatment, and bowl in a lavish, private area overlooked by Hollywood legends.
Any of the Centre’s lanes can be pre-booked, and with booths in the restaurant or bar area, Hollywood Bowl is perfect for celebrations of all occasions – from nights out, work functions and informal team get togethers to teenage gatherings and children’s parties, where team members are always on hand to help set up ramps and in-lane bumpers that give the little ones a great chance of beating the adults. It’s also a brilliant place for festive fun, with Christmas packages available that are filled with food, drink, prizes, photos, and of course bowling.
