The LDGF Techno Allotment display was admired by the many visitors to the Great Yorkshire Show including the Countess of Wessex who stopped to speak to Phil Gommersall the publicity officer for the Federation during her tour around the show.
The Techno Allotment display received a gold award plus a Champion Cerficate for being the best educational stand and another Cerficate was to follow on the last day.
Phil told us “It was a very proud day for the volunteers who had created the garden on behalf of the federation.To crown it all on the last day of the show we received a further Certificate for 2nd place in the Peoples Choice awards”
