Gareth Gates is the new patron for Radio Aire & Magic 828s charity, Cash for Kids.
Gareth took time out of his extremely busy schedule, which involves practising for the Dancing on Ice Tour, opening his new performing arts academies, promoting his greatest hits CD and The Big Reunion.
He went along to the Radio Aire & Magic 828 studios, to meet some of the lovely beneficiaries from the Leeds Teenage Cancer Trust – who Cash for Kids have helped over the years.
Charity manager, Lisa Sullivan said, “We’re so thankful to have Gareth supporting us, especially as he is a local lad”
The Yorkshire Reporter in last month’s edition did an article about Cash for Kids, which gave our readers and us an insight in to this valuable charity.
We were privileged to be invited to meet Gareth and delighted with his interest in our newspaper.
