Police And Crime Commissioner Praises Leeds Gym

Keen golfers from all over Yorkshire got into the swing of things at Rudding Park Golf Course in Harrogate to help raise over £5,000 for charity.
More than 100 women took park in the 7th annual golf day in aid of The Yorkshire Haven Breast Cancer Centre which is based in Leeds and provides free therapies to anyone affected by breast cancer.
The ladies golf day attracted competitors from all over the region, with women taking part from over 20 clubs including Harrogate, Otley, Eccles, Moortown, Skipton, Keighley and Ilkley.
It was held during breast cancer awareness month and supported and sponsored by Chris Bowland of CDB Leeds Ltd wealth management services who are a partner practice of the St James’s Place Partnership.
The ladies where treated to breakfast in the morning before they teed off in glorious sunshine for the day’s pairs better ball competition, the evening was held at the main house with a three course meal and prizes galore from the days activities.
Nicola Burns who is a fundraiser at The Yorkshire Haven said ‘The Rudding Park Charity Golf day was once again a fantastic occasion for everyone involved, the atmosphere and weather was at its best with everyone having an amazing day and night’.
The Yorkshire Haven in Leeds provides a free of charge, wide range of therapies which help people to deal with the physical and emotional side effects of breast cancer. No referral is needed and anyone is welcome.
