TRINITY KITCHEN

Food And DrinkLifestyle

If you are looking for some fresh new tastes in Leeds city centre this summer, then Trinity Kitchen is the place to sample some exciting new street food offerings – but they are only here temporarily so be quick!

Taking inspiration from around the world, the pop up vendors offer a good variety of food – perfect for if you and your friends cannot agree on what you want to eat! Big Grillie Style is serving American diner favourites such as grilled sandwiches, burgers and fries. What The Truck is also serving American inspired dishes such as Philly cheese steak and loaded hotdogs. Mama’s Jerk Station are visiting from London where they have built up a reputation for their unique twist on traditional Caribbean food. No rice ‘n’ peas here but plenty of jerk seasoned fries to enjoy with your jerk chicken or sweet potato coconut cakes and fried plantain. Our historian Gareth loved the spicy grilled jerk chicken! Chaat Cart has returned to dish up their much-loved Indian street food. They offer chicken curry and chicken kati roll. I sampled their spiced halloumi flat bread with rainbow slaw and a side of onion bhajis. Spicy, fresh and really tasty. If dessert is more your thing, then Thai Khrim are busy creating their hand-crafted Thai ice cream with a huge variety of flavours and toppings, and Lekker Eat Dutch are also satisfying those with a sweet tooth with their waffles and pancakes, all with delicious toppings.

It is well worth popping in over the summer to see what tickles your tastebuds!
